Big & small we do them all!
The main job of a veterinarian is to help keep animals healthy and if they are not try to figure out why the animal is sick and treat them accordingly; just like a human doctor would. All of our veterinarians take their job very seriously but they can have a lot of fun too! Being a veterinarian can be hard work but also very rewarding. We have two kinds of veterinarians at our clinics but there are a wide range of possibilities when it comes to the veterinary field. Veterinarians can work on pets of all sizes or farm animals to exotic animals, like in zoos, or specialize in a specific field such as radiology (using x-rays) or orthopedics (working with bones). Animals can be a lot of fun to work with but they rarely tell us where it hurts!
