Veterinary Technicians help with everything from laboratory work to patient monitoring during surgery to animal handling and everything in-between. Any and all aspects that a Veterinarian may need assistance with Vet Techs are there to help lend a hand and make your animal's visit as good of an experience as possible.
This year marks the 20th year that the National Association of Veterinary Technicians of America (NAVTA) is celebrating National Veterinary Technician Week. NAVTA is an organization that has represented veterinary technicians since 1981. "The mission of NAVTA is to represent and promote the profession of veterinary technology. NAVTA provides direction, education, support and coordination for its members and works with other allied professional organizations for the competent care and humane treatment of animals" (www.navta.net). NAVTA's goals for National Vet Tech week include education, reinforcing values and professionalism, continued opportunities for team building and acknowledgement of the relationship with veterinarians and other veterinary professionals(www.navta.net).
The MLVC and Becker Clinic team includes 14 wonderful Certified Veterinary Technicians (13 small animal and 1 large animal) who work hard to provide our high standards of Veterinary care for all of our patients.
